Kristen is one of the owners and Director of Cairn Dale Farm.
From a little girl, Kristen has always been an animal lover. Aunt Marie (the original owner of Cairn Dale Farm) groomed her for this position. Marie taught Kristen a strong foundation of animal care, animal behavior, and many things that she uses today as owner and director. Kristen has spent countless hours helping pet shelters, working with rescues, and helping to educate pet parents.
Kristen is a philonist, always seeking out and finding new ways to learn. She is currently seeking training for becoming a Certified Behavior Canine Consultant. Presently, she is taking classes on Pet Nutrition and Pet Psychology, She currently holds certifications for Pet Sitting, Complete Pet Care, Dog training, and Dog Grooming. Kristen also holds a Bachelors Degree in Science from Central Michigan University.
Kristen works very closely with the staff and pet parents to ensure the Farm offers the best and complete services to our pets and pet parents we serve.
Kristen believes in her work at the Farm and is passionate about caring for pets and being a support system for pet parents. Kristen looks forward to many years as a 3rd generation owner of Cairn Dale Farm and hopes to pass the passion on to one or more of her children.

As our supervisor, Kelsay serves as the Leadership of our staff and helps the director in ensuring the best care possible for our pet guests and pet parents.
As the Reservation Specialist she assists pet parents with the planning and booking every aspect of their pet's vacation. She can answer your questions, make suggestions, and book your reservation.
From Kelsay: I am a cat lover! I fell in love with our kitty who we got in November and haven't looked back since. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and your fur babies!

Oatmeal is our resident kennel dog. Coming to us as a foster, we absolutely fell in love with him. He is currently training to be a Canine Good Citizen and eventually will become a therapy dog. He loves going into schools to teach children about the responsibilities of being a pet owner.
