Dog Training:

The certified dog trainers at Cairn Dale Farm Pet Resort know there is not a one size fits all training program. That is why we offer a large variety of classes, workshops, and private lessons. 

Please feel free to call regarding your training needs. We can put together a plan that best suites your individual needs. 

Dog training for every stage of life, puppies, adults, and specialized training for rescue dogs.

We offer stay & train to our guests boarding or in daycare. It is an additional $20 per day to the standard boarding rate. 10 day minimum stay.

Puppy Basics-In this class we focus on basic behaviors as well as common puppy topics such as potty training, socialization and fear periods.

Puppy Advanced- This class is for puppies who have gone through the puppy basics class.

Adult Advanced- This class focuses on everything learned in adult basics with new distractions, as well as new skills. This class will help your dog be prepared for many situations. Many of the skills learned in this class will prepare your pet for AKC Canine Good Citizen test.

Classes must have 4 dogs in order to run.  Advanced registration is required.

 Workshops:

• Leash workshop- 
  • In this workshop we focus on loose-leash walking, problems associated with walking on a leash and focusing while walking 

• Potty Training Workshop-
  •  In this workshop we focus on potty training tips and tricks and any questions associated with potty training. Puppy socialization is also included. 

• Sit & Stay Workshop-
  •  In this workshop we focus on teaching or refreshing your dogs skills to sit and stay. These are both very important basic skills all dogs should know. 

• Touch & Focus Workshop-
  •  In this workshop your dog will learn the behaviors touch and focus. Both of these are extremely useful in getting your dogs attention in every situation.

• Chewing & Jumping Workshop- 
  • This workshop focuses on why dogs chew and jump and how to correct it.

Cost is $45 per workshop, advanced registration is required.

 Private lessons:

 You and your pet attend and we discuss any behavioral issues you may be experiencing as well as learning basics behaviors. = $65 per hour
